Participated in the 5-year Anniversary Celebration of AFIFORUM last January 23-24, 2024, in Bangkok, Thailand.

The largest global network of financial institutions and investors, representing the beating heart of Asia’s financial industry and sustainable development community.
The goal of the event was to build a resilient financial system that combines financial inclusion and private sector growth with sustainable development. Furthermore, it had aimed to foster dialogue between investors and the financial sector to catalyze debt raising, equity investments and technical assistance programs. It also combines a truly unique networking opportunity with an enticing and informative line-up of speakers that tackle the most relevant topics of the moment. AFIFORUM is geared towards impact investment mobilization and sustainable finance networking.

Community Development Unit

Social and Community Intervention for the year 2020

COVID-19 response, distributed more than 10,000.00 pcs. washable mask and COVID tarpaulin campaign materials to KCCDMFI clients , at the same time provided income generating activity to 10 women who produce the said mask at P 25.00 per mask.

Re-echo and Conducted Awareness Campaign on COVID -19 preventive measures, to not less 150 clients in different barangays and KCC organization.

Donated 16 units Hand washing facility to selected schools and Barangay Health Center in Zamboanga City.

Participate Mangrove tree planting activity initiated by Indigenous Peoples Association in Sitio Simariki, Talon-Talon Barangay. Seedlings comes from our maintained mangrove nursery in this particular area.

Initiated community projects in the following area:

Repair of Rice and Corn Dryer in Barangay Sulo, Naga Sibugay Province, for a total cost of P 68,000.00 for the supplies and materials ,while the labor cost of the project was shouldered by Sulo Barangay Council.

Cementing of 200 meters passage way in Sitio Talaga, Barangay Licomo under Vitali Branch, project cost is P 40,00000 for cement and steel bar, labor is done thru pintakasi work of the residents in this sitio.

Provided deep well project water source in Zone 3, Barangay Ayala with a total cost of P 25,000.00.

Another project has been initiated in Zone 7 Barangay Victoria a Deep well project and cementing of 50 meters pathway way to residential area , the total cost of the project is P 25,000.00 from KCCDMFI and P 10,00.00 from KCC center fund.

Construction of sea weeds dryer in Barangay Labatan, Payao Imelda Sibugay Province, the total cost of the project is P 45,000.00 for the materials and supplies cost, which is made up of Bamboo trunk and stalk.

Establishment of concrete solar rice dryer in Lunday Valley, for almost 100 farmers within this area, which measures 20 X 30 meters.

Community Initiated Projects:

2021

Construction of waste water drainage canal along household area in Seven Street, Southcom Village

Establishment of Water supply at Barangay Tenan, Ipil Sibugay area to almost 50 to 80 households of the said area for the total cost of P 60,000.00 which covers the cost for materials and supplies.

Completion of the rice and corn dryer in Sulu Naga, Sibugay area.

Establishment of Sanitary facility at Assumption drive in Ayala for the Urban Poor association Members.

Assisted construction of center house for venue of weekly center meetings.

OTHER ACTIVITIES:

Initiated contest for Best in “Plantita “ during women’s month celebration to give recognition for those clients who are venturing into flower production and selling.

Initiate contest on Essay writing and Poster making contest , participated by clients dependents and childrens.

Conducted zoom awareness campaign on Cervical and Breast cancer to selected women leaders.

Conducted free eye check- up for the clients.

Conducted mangrove tree growing activity in Barangay Talon-Talon, Simariki mangrove area.

Able to organize and registered under DOLE Bureau of Rural Workers as Cassava Farmers Women’s Association at Sitio Dulian Bunguiao , Zambaonga City.

Assisted 2 Secondary school , by providing medical and school supplies as our support to “Barangayanihan sa Paaralan 2021” Sinoropan National High School in Vitali and Landang Gua National High School.

Initiated Search for Most Successful Micro Entrepreneur 2021 to deserving clients of the Institution amidst Pandemic crisis.

Conducted outreach program by providing wheel chair and cane quad to PWD clients last December 2021.

Provided immediate and relief assistance to clients who are victims of manmade and natural calamities that hits in Zamboanga City and in part of Sibugay area, Imelda, Kabasalan and Siocon area.

Conducted Zoom training on Entrepreneurial Development and Simple Bookkeeping to KCCDMFI leaders and members.
