MOA Signing and Turnover of Working Capital Fund for MCFARMCO and MSJFA

On June 10, 2025, the WEE-SAFE Project facilitated the MOA Signing and Turnover of Working Capital Fund for MCFARMCO and MSJFA at the LARBECO Conference Hall, Lamitan City, Basilan. The activity aimed to formalize the partnership and provide capital support to enhance community-based enterprise development. MCFARMCO, a cooperative focused on rubber production and marketing, received Php 300,000 to scale up cup lump rubber operations, while MSJFA, managing a mushroom livelihood project, received Php 50,000 to expand production and processing. The event included an overview of the project and the MOA provisions, the official signing of the agreement, and the turnover of funds. Both associations expressed gratitude and commitment to responsibly use the capital for sustainable growth. The WEE-SAFE Project emphasized regular monitoring, submission of quarterly enterprise performance reports, and long-term sustainability planning, including market linkages and reinvestment, to ensure continued economic empowerment and impact.
