Espinosa Jr. The two-day learning trip is designed to provide critical information on coconut industry practices.
The learning exposure enable them to gained knowledge on the production and post-harvest processes, different uses of machineries, and coconut product development. The PCA’s role is not only to do research, but also to promote technology transfer. The effort enlightens farmers’ knowledge, allowing them to appreciate the substantial advantages to help boost income. Further, it provides an opportunity to exchange knowledge among co-farmers and increased interest in coconut farming. The presence of receptive LGU official creates an opportunity for legislation to advocate further for agricultural support, particularly the coconut industry.
