What is MiDAS?
The Microfinance Information Data Sharing (MiDAS), Inc. is a web-based system that allows Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) to inquire and share client data with one another.
Purpose of MiDAS
Its main purpose is to serve as a highly recommended tool for MFIs in evaluating and approving new clients or applicants. By accessing shared information, MFIs can:
Prevent multiple or overlapping loans from different institutions
Ensure responsible lending practices
Strengthen client assessment and decision-making
Promote transparency and cooperation among MFIs
How to reset MiDAS password?
If your account has expired or you’ve forgotten your password, you can reset it by following the step-by-step instructions in the video tutorial

- If you need to create a new account, go to USER APPLICATION in MiDAS portal:
How to login to MiDAS:
- Check your email for your MiDAS username and login details.
- Go to the MiDAS portal website.
- MiDAS Portal link: https://midas.midas.com.
ph/Main/Login - Enter your username and password to log in.
- You’ll need to update or change your password, refer to the video tutorial for guidance.
- Remember to keep your new password secure and easy to remember.
Once your password is reset, you’ll be able to log in and reactivate your account.

How to Introduce the Loan Application Process to Clients
Our website makes loan application simple and convenient. Clients just need to download and fill out the Membership Form, submit it to the nearest branch, and wait for approval from the Branch Manager
When informing potential clients about applying for a loan through our website, you may guide them with these simple steps:
Step 1 – Fill out the Membership Form
Let the client know they can download the Membership Form directly from our website and fill it out completely.
Step 2 – Submit the Form
Instruct them to submit the accomplished form to the nearest KMFI branch in their area.
Step 3 – Wait for Approval
Explain that once submitted, their application will be reviewed, and the Branch Manager will notify them once it has been approved.
