The Turnover Ceremony of the Two (2) Production Buildings for TDAFA and MCRWA, held on October 16, 2025, in Brgy. Tumakid and Brgy. Malo-ong Canal, Lamitan City, formally handed over the newly constructed and renovated production facilities funded by the City Local Government Unit to the Tumakid Diversified Farmers Ahon Association (TDAFA) and the Malo-ong Canal Rose Women Association (MCRWA), while strengthening partnerships among the LGU, the WEE-SAFE Project, and beneficiary associations in advancing sustainable livelihood and enterprise development. The ceremony opened with prayer rituals from both associations, followed by messages highlighting the importance of collective action, responsible facility management, and maximizing the opportunity to expand community-based enterprises. Partner agencies expressed continued support through monitoring, technical assistance, and guidance, and announced updates on the processing of registration documents. Association leaders conveyed gratitude for the support received and reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing their vegetable and agri-based enterprises using the improved facilities. The activity concluded with a ribbon-cutting ceremony symbolizing the official turnover and operationalization of the production buildings.
