Orientation on the PESO Program (Propelling Economic and Sustainable Opportunities) and Islamic Financing

The Orientation on the PESO Program (Propelling Economic and Sustainable Opportunities) and Islamic Financing, conducted on February 19, 2025 at the Lamitan Plaza Kitchenette, Barangay Matibay, Lamitan City, oriented 19 selected FFOs on available financing opportunities, eligibility requirements, and application procedures under the PESO Program and Islamic financing mechanisms. Organized by the WEE-SAFE Project in partnership with the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Tourism, Basilan Province Office, the activity featured a presentation on program guidelines, financing options, and loan procedures in collaboration with Al-Amanah Islamic Investment Bank of the Philippines, followed by an open forum addressing participants’ concerns on loan processes and business plan preparation. The session concluded with closing remarks encouraging participants to access financing support to strengthen their enterprises.
