Training on Packaging, Labeling, and Marketing Strategy for Community-Based Value Chain Enterprises
The Training on Coconut Good Agricultural Practices, Livestock and Poultry Production and Management, held on January 22–23, 2025 at the Multi-Purpose Hall in Barangay Ulame, Lamitan City, gathered 65 participants from farmer organizations to strengthen agricultural knowledge and integrated farming skills. The two-day activity focused on coconut morphology, varieties, farm establishment, Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), and post-harvest management, alongside livestock and poultry production, disease prevention, and integrated farming systems. Resource speakers provided practical guidance on sustainable crop and animal management, proper harvesting and processing techniques, and strategies to improve farm productivity. Interactive discussions and open forums allowed participants to clarify technical concerns and share learning insights. The activity concluded with the distribution of certificates, seeds, fertilizers, and farming inputs, reinforcing institutional support and encouraging participants to apply the acquired knowledge, register with relevant agricultural systems, and adopt improved practices to enhance sustainable livelihoods in their community.
