The Business Plan Proposal Writing Cum Cost and Return Analysis, Planning and Budgeting Workshop for Select Officers of Farmers and Fisherfolks Organizations was conducted on April 24–26, 2024, at Nalamar Restaurant and Services in Lamitan City, with participants from cooperatives, associations, barangays, the WEE-SAFE Project team, and partner stakeholders including the Ministry of Trade, Investments and Tourism and the Office of the City Agriculturist of Lamitan City. The workshop aimed to strengthen participants’ capacity to develop sound business plan proposals by reviewing and improving Business Improvement Plan data, enhancing financial literacy, and building skills in cost and return analysis, planning, and budgeting. Through guided sessions and workshops facilitated by resource persons, including Mr. Asriff Tindick and organizational leaders, participants reviewed production and sales assumptions, prepared income statements, and learned practical bookkeeping and financial management techniques. The activity emphasized realistic financial planning, operational efficiency, and marketing strategies, enabling participants to produce draft business plan proposals with financial projections. As a result, participants gained practical knowledge and confidence in entrepreneurship, strengthened their ability to manage and plan their enterprises, and developed actionable strategies to improve the sustainability and profitability of their organizations.
