KIDHI and MENRO Ipil, in partnership with various cooperatives, successfully conducted the first session of the Mangrove Tree Planting Activity in Makilas, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay.
This initiative aims to restore and protect our coastal ecosystems by planting mangroves that help strengthen biodiversity, reduce coastal erosion, provide habitats for marine life, and enhance the resilience of our communities against climate change.
As we prepare for the 25th Anniversary of KMFI, we proudly launch our commitment to plant 25,000 trees over the coming years. This milestone initiative reflects our dedication to food security, storm protection, and climate action, creating a healthier and more sustainable environment for future generations.
