The Kasanyangan Education, Research and Development Foundation, Inc. (KERDFI), in partnership with the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Region IX, conducted a 2-day Conflict Management Training for Cooperatives on February 19-20, 2026.
The activity gathered 42 participants from nine (9) KERDFI-assisted cooperatives, aiming to strengthen their capacity to manage disputes and activate Mediation-Conciliation (Med-Con) Committees within their organizations.
Atty. Mynna Marie B. Godoy, Attorney III from the Legal Section of CDA Region IX, facilitated the training, discussing relevant laws, policies, and the vital role of mediation in resolving conflicts efficiently, lawfully, and amicably.
Through this initiative, participating cooperatives are now better equipped to address conflicts constructively, strengthen governance, and promote unity among members.
